The in between winter and spring time can lead to some challenges when getting ready for work. Here are some ideas for work wear which can keep you warm in the cooler temps, but easily can be switched up when the warmer weather hits. I’ve laid out options in both a formal and informal office setting.
Love this jacket for winter, but the lighter color over a light top would be great for cold to warm weather.
You can’t go wrong with a short sleeve turtleneck and this color can tone with spring colors.
This dress is incredible for multiple seasons. Wear as is with sheer tights, or add a thicker legging, a scarf and jacket to take into the cooler temperatures.
This jacket works great to layer up but it keeps that spring color in your outfit.
These pants are great, lightweight and can be dressed up or down.
And of course a great structured bag which doesn’t tie you to a season is key.
I love nude shoes, and although they may speak more for the summer, the brogue elements will hint to the fall and winter styles
This crepe blouse is a great option in more casual work environments
You can’t go wrong with a long cardigan. Over smart jeans or cut off pants, this will be useful in all seasons.
I love these sweaters, especially this gorgeous spice color. Even though I live in the desert, I can get cold being in the air conditioning all day and that’s why these sweaters are great. Put a white tank under these and add some cute jewelry and you’re good to go. These even translate to the weekend and would be great for running errands and brunching.
These leggings come in a variety of colors. The jean options are great if your office allows, or for a slightly more smart casual setting, the darker color would work amazingly well.
Sometimes figuring out what to wear to work in these changing months is half the morning battle, I’m hoping these ideas can give you some inspiration.
